Jagtial: Dog walks 130 km with devotees to reach Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple

In a remarkable incident, a stray dog accompanied Hanuman Deeksha devotees during their padayatra from Adilabad district and walked nearly 130 kilometres to reach the famous Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple in Jagtial district along with the pilgrims.

Jagtial: In an amazing incident, a dog reached the Anjaneya Swamy temple in Kondagattu by walking. It walked about 130 kilometer distance to reach the famous shrine.

To drop deeksha at Kondagattu temple, a group of hanuman deeksha swamis from Gudihatnur of Adilabad district began padayatra five days ago to reach the shrine.


While they were taking a rest in Utnoor, the dog approached them and started staying along with them as one of Hanuman deeksha swamis offered a biscuit to the dog.

Though they tried to send the dog away from them, it continued walking with them. Hanuman deeksha swamis put socks it’s legs to give some support.

Moreover, they walked 20 kilometer forest area during the night without any fear as the dog gave protection to them. Finally, it reached Kondagattu shrine by walking 130 km.
