Sangareddy: A mega health camp was conducted for the inmates of Sangareddy Central Jail by KIMS-Sunshine Heart Institute on Saturday on the jail premises. A team of doctors led by Sridher Kasturi (Cardiology) and Chander Tejavath examined the inmates.
Experts in Cardiology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Orthopaedics, Pulmonology, Gynaecology and General Medicine conducted various tests on male and female inmates of the jail. The team provided medicines to those who required them.
Superintendent of the Jail Santosh Kumar Rai said they conducted the mega health camp following the directions of Director General of Police (Prisons and Correctional Services) Dr Soumya Mishra. He said that the aim of the camp was to keep every inmate healthy. Rai thanked the DGP and the doctors for their day-long camp.
