Burglars decamp with gold, silver, and cash from Moinabad house

A house in Moinabad belonging to businessman Srinivas was burgled between March 25 and 27 while his family was away. Thieves stole 168 grams of gold, 20 tolas of silver, and Rs 10 lakh in cash. Police are investigating and collecting fingerprints.

Burglars decamp with gold, silver, and cash from Moinabad house

HYDERABAD: Burglars broke into a house at Moinabad and decamped with gold, silver and cash. According to the police, a businessman, Srinivas, lives along with his family at Amdapur village in Moinabad.

On March 23, Srinivas went to Goa for vacation, while two days later, on March 25, his wife and children left for their relatives’ house. Between March 25 and 27, unknown persons broke into the house and decamped with 168 grams of gold, 20 tolas of silver and Rs 10 lakh cash.


The family returned on Friday night and found the house burgled. On information, the police reached the spot and started an investigation. The police collected fingerprints from the cupboard and safe locker to check it with the data.
