Jagtial: Future course of action of the former Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy has widely been discussed among the political circles across the erstwhile Karimnagar district. However, he is tight-lipped on his political joining.

Various sections of the people thought that the senior leader would reveal his political action plan during the party workers’ meeting held in Jagtial on Wednesday, wherein he announced his resignation from the congress party.

However, he was tightlipped on the topic in which party he is going to join.

Except for announcing to wage war on the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for suppressing him during the last two and a half years, he did not reveal anything about his political joining.

However, different rumors are making rounds in political circles in the district. While some of them are strongly arguing that he has decided to join the BRS, others have an opinion that he would choose the BJP.

On March 14, one of his followers posted a message on social media stating that Jeevan Reddy is going to resign from the congress party.

At that time, it also made rounds that he is going to join the BRS and both party president K Chandrashekhar Rao as well as working president KT Rama Rao already held discussions with Jeevan Reddy.

Besides other assurances, he was reportedly promised an important post in the BRS. Though it went viral on various social media platforms, he did not condemn it.

Moreover, Jeevan Reddy participated in the recent Ramzan celebrations in Jagtial along with the local BRS leaders including former Zilla Parishad chairperson Dava Vasantha and others.

Rumors are also being circulated that Jeeven Reddy will join the BRS in the presence of Chandrashekhar Rao in Jagtial on April 2 by conducting a huge public meeting.

On the other hand, BJP is also making serious efforts to attract the senior politician. Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind, who has close association with Jeevan Reddy, has taken initiative to convince senior leader, it is learnt.

BJP state president Ramchander Rao also spoke to Jeevan Reddy and invited him into the party.

Instead of joining the political party immediately, Jeevan Reddy was also considering an idea of touring in rural areas of Jagtial, Korutla and Dharmapuri constituencies wherein he has the hold, to garner the support of the public, congress leaders opined.
