Seyyed Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabi-Fard said in this week’s Friday prayers in Tehran that the great, united and resilient Iranian nation is writing a new history for the region and the world.
According to Mehr News Agency, Aboutorabi-Fard said the Iranian people, standing on the heights of rationality, knowledge, faith, patience and resistance, have demonstrated firm determination to overcome challenges and difficulties.
He added that the world is witnessing a redefinition of Iran’s strategic role in international equations and in West Asia, as well as a renewed understanding of Iran’s role in the security of the Persian Gulf and control of the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
The cleric also said recent developments had exposed the inability of the United States to ensure the security of Persian Gulf states and had weakened the military and economic image of the United States and the terrorist regime of Israel.
