
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty have held telephone conversation to discuss regional developments and international implications of the joint US-Israeli war of aggression on Iran.
Araghchi, in a phone call to Abdelatty on Tuesday, reiterated Iran’s inherent and legitimate right to self-defense in the wake of the unprovoked US-Israeli aggression against the country.
The top Iranian diplomat also explained Iran’s stance on the aggression and the decisive response by armed forces so far to the aggressors with aerial attacks on enemy targets.
The Egyptian foreign minister, for his part, outlined his country’s consultations with regional and international actors with the aim of reducing tensions in the region.
