In a post on his official X account on Monday, Al Busaidi, referring to the US-Israeli military aggression against Iran, said that although the war has caused major economic problems, but regardless of views, this war was not started by Iran.
He noted that Muscat has been making intensive efforts to ensure the safety of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, as it is a vital waterway from which, approximately 20% of the world’s energy passes.
The top Omani diplomat warned that the war has already created widespread economic problems, which is feared to escalate if the conflict continues.
