Hyderabad: Apollo Hospitals Jubilee Hills on Wednesday announced crossing 2,000 robotic procedures using the advanced Xi robotic surgical system. High-end Xi robotic technology has been widely utilised across multiple specialties, including Gynaecology, Surgical Oncology, Urology, Cardiac Thoracic Surgery and Surgical Gastroenterology, a statement from the hospital said.

Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, said: “Our expert teams of surgeons across departments have successfully adopted this minimally invasive platform, enabling complex procedures with greater accuracy, reduced pain and faster recovery time for patients”.


Robotic-assisted surgery enhances surgical precision through superior 3D visualisation and improved instrument flexibility, helping manage complicated cases with better clinical outcomes, robotic surgeons from the hospital said.
