Hyderabad: After much delay, the State government will release the first installment of Rythu Bharosa assistance to farmers on March 22. In the first installment, the assistance would be extended to farmers owning up to one acre of land.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will disburse the first installment of Rythu Bharosa funds from Narmetta in Siddipet district. The Chief Minister will release Rs 3,590 crore and the same would be deposited in the bank accounts of 70 lakh farmers, according to an official statement.
After 20 days of the first installment, the second installment of Rs 2,650 crore Rythu Bharosa funds will be released. The third and final installment of Rythu Bharosa funds will be released by the end of April. Under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, the State government will deposit a total of Rs 9,000 crore in three installments directly in the farmers’ accounts, the statement said.
