Hyderabad: Sreenidi Deccan FC will face Gokulam Kerala FC in their third consecutive away match of the Indian Football League at the Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri on Saturday.
The Deccan Warriors will seek to recover from their recent defeat against Chanmari FC. Gokulam Kerala, on the other hand, drew 1-1 against Namdhari FC in their last league fixture.
Head coach Carlos Vaz Pinto stated, “The team has responded well in training following the last match’s setback. We recognise that Gokulam is a formidable opponent but the team is prepared for the challenge.
To be competitive in the league we must be the dominant team and command the game.”
Experienced defender Hardik Bhatt added, “A loss is disappointing but it also sharpens our resolve. As a team we are determined to respond to the last result. We have come here with a clear objective and will endeavour to secure the three points tomorrow.”
