Speaking during this week’s Friday Prayers sermon in Tehran, which coincided with International Quds Day, Ayatollah Khatami said that as the founding father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, who named the last Friday of holy month of Ramadan the Quds Day, said the Israeli regime must be wiped out of the world map.
The cleric added that the region will not see peace and tranquility until the Zionist regime is destroyed.
“Until America and the Zionist regime are present, the mankind will see no peace,” he said.
Khatami also pointed to the ongoing war on the country, saying that the Islam’s worriers will destroy the enemy and will make it regret, God willing.
He further strongly condemned Minab School tragedy which was created by the US.
