Foreign Minister Araghchi and his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar held a telephone conversation on Friday to discuss the latest regional and international developments.
During the phone call, Iran’s top diplomat briefed Jaishankar on the latest trend of war as a result of the US-Israeli aggression against Iran, emphasizing the dire consequences of these measures that can jeopardize the stability and security of the region and the whole world.
He called on the regional and international bodies to condemn the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.
Araghchi pointed to the significant and constructive role of BRICS as a forum for the development of multilateral cooperation, and termed the key role of BRICS at the current situation ‘necessary’ to support the regional and international stability.
The foreign minister of India, for his part, expressed readiness of his country to develop bilateral- and multilateral cooperation at the regional and international forums.
Jaishankar emphasized finding a solution for strengthening sustainable stability and security in the region.
