Pezeshkian urges Intl. condemnation of US-Israeli crimes

President Pezeshkian received a phone call by his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin late on Tuesday to discuss bilateral cooperation and the recent regional developments.

President Pezeshkian thanked Russia for its supportive stance toward Iran. 

He pointed to the recent attacks by the United States and the Israeli regime on civilian infrastructures and ordinary citizens, stressing the need for the international community to condemn such heinous actions in international forums.

The two presidents exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, and emphasized the importance of continuing consultations and coordination between Tehran and Moscow at the highest levels.

The Russian president, for his part, reiterated his country’s opposition to the US-Israeli military aggression against Iran and announced Moscow’s readiness to provide necessary assistance and support efforts aimed at ending the conflict in the region as soon as possible.
