Sangareddy: A blackbuck was injured after being hit by an unidentified vehicle while crossing NH-65 at Digwal in Kohir mandal on Monday.
Upon receiving information, forest officials rushed to the spot and rescued the injured animal. The blackbuck was shifted to a veterinary hospital in Zaheerabad for treatment.
Based on the advice of a local veterinary doctor, the animal may later be shifted to the Nehru Zoological Park for further care.
