The Anti-Corruption Bureau caught two Armed Reserve Sub-Inspectors attached to the Cybercrime Police Station in LB Nagar while allegedly accepting a Rs 1 lakh bribe. Acting on a complaint, officials laid a trap and recovered the cash before remanding them to judicial custody.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials have caught two police officials of the Malkajgiri Police on charges of bribery at the Cybercrime police station in LB Nagar on Monday.
As per information available, the officials identified as Pramod Goud and J Babu Naik, both Armed Reserve Sub-inspectors posted at the Cybercrime PS had demanded and accepted bribe of Rs 1 lakh for doing an official favour.
Following a complaint, the ACB officials laid a trap and caught the duo. The bribe money was recovered from them. The duo was produced before the special court for ACB cases for remanding in judicial custody.
