According to Mehr News Agency, the Armed Forces General Staff and the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya issued a statement emphasizing their commitment to safeguarding the security and interests of Iran under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
In the statement, the Armed Forces extended condolences over the martyrdom of the leader of the Islamic Ummah, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, and congratulated the Iranian nation on the selection of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution by the Assembly of Experts.
Addressing the “great, heroic, courageous and insightful nation of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the statement reaffirmed that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran—including commanders, soldiers, and the broader Armed Forces family—renew their pledge to the ideals of the founders of the Islamic Revolution.
The statement further noted that the Armed Forces have declared their allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei as a qualified Islamic jurist and leader, describing him as just, knowledgeable of the times, politically experienced, pious, and capable of leadership and management.
According to the statement, the Armed Forces stressed that under the commands and directives of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, as Leader and Commander-in-Chief, they will act with greater strength, determination, and revolutionary spirit in safeguarding the achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
