Nirmal: Two persons were killed on the spot after the motorcycle they were travelling on rammed into a road median near Golden Function Hall in Nirmal town early on Monday morning.
Police identified the deceased as Srujan (33), a resident of Manjulapur, and Prapul (34) from Natarajnagar.
According to police, the accident occurred around 6 am when the rider reportedly lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to crash into the median. Both victims suffered grievous injuries and died instantly.
On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to the Government General Hospital for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway. More details are awaited.
