Mancherial: Dikshuchi, a voluntary organisation run by NRIs, sponsored a computer lab for the convenience of students at a government-run upper primary school in remote Rendlaguda village in Jannaram mandal, marking International Women’s Day on Sunday. The lab was formally inaugurated by MEO N Vijay Kumar on Sunday.
B Kishan, headmaster of the school, said that the voluntary organisation came forward to donate the lab equipped with a computer and two laptops with the objective of teaching various subjects online. He stated that volunteers of the organisation would impart lessons to pupils of the school every Saturday. He opined that the lab would be beneficial to the students in many ways.
The teaching staff, parents and students thanked Bhumula Ranjith Kumar of Dikshuchi for showing his generosity by sponsoring the lab. Teachers B Kishan, J Vimala, G Sujatha, M Narsaiah, M Manjula, Roja and G Srilatha attended the event.
