A 27-year-old man was allegedly murdered near Chaitanyapuri Metro station in Hyderabad following a financial dispute over a loan of Rs 1.40 lakh. Police said the accused and his friends attacked the victim during a heated argument.

Hyderabad: A man was murdered reportedly over a financial dispute at Chaitanyapuri in the city on Saturday evening.
According to the police, the victim Y Yadagiri alias Arjun, (27), allegedly took a loan of Rs. 1.40 lakh from one person Satish, a few years ago and did not return the amount. On Saturday, Satish along with his two friends called Yadagiri, to discuss the issue near Chaitanyapur metro station when a fight broke out between them.
“Satish and others, attacked Yadagiri, following which he is suspected to have suffered injuries and died,” said Chaitanayapuri Inspector, K Saidulu.
A case is registered.
