The embassy told Russian news agency RIA Novosti that diplomats and support personnel of the Russian Federation in Iran continue to stay in place and carry out their assigned duties.
The embassy emphasized that the situation in Tehran remains generally stable overall.
It noted that despite shelling and bombardment, shops and government offices are continuing their operations.
