
Iran and Sri Lanka’s foreign ministers held a call on Thursday amid ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran.
The Sri Lankan minister said in a post on social media that in the call, he had stressed concerns over escalation of tensions and the need to restore peace to the region.
The call aslo comes a day after Sri Lankan navy reported that Iranian destroyer Dena had been sunk in Indian Ocean waters and 140 crew members had been missing.
