The CBSE has postponed the Class 10 and 12 board exams scheduled for March 2, 2026, across Gulf countries and Iran due to prevailing circumstances. A circular issued to schools confirmed the deferment in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.

Dubai: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on Sunday that the Class 10 and 12 annual board exams scheduled for March 2, 2026, in the Gulf region have been postponed owing to the current situation.
The CBSE stated in a circular sent to schools that exams in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman have been postponed. Iran was also included in the list in which exams were postponed.
The CBSE statement also said that the new dates would be announced at a later stage. It further added that the Board would review the situation on March 3 and take appropriate decisions regarding the examinations scheduled from March 5 onwards.
The Gulf region is the largest block outside India where CBSE-affiliated schools operate to cater to the needs of children of Indian expatriates.
