Avanthi Degree and Postgraduate College secured the overall team championship at the Osmania University inter-college taekwondo tournament held at the OU Indoor Stadium.

Hyderabad: Avanthi Degree and Post-graduate College won the team championship in the Osmania University inter-college taekwondo championship for men at OU Indoor Stadium here.
Dr. Someshwar Rao, organising secretary, Sr Prof Rajesh Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Physical Education, OU, Prof. B. Sunil Kumar, Principal, UCPE,OU, Sr. Prof. K. Deepla, Director of Physical Education, OU and Dr. J. Babulal, Taekwondo coach, graced the valedictory function.

58kg: 1. R. Shiv Kiran (RG Kedia), 2. B. Shravan Kumar (Bhavan’s College), 3. G. Srikar (Avinash College) & K. Ramesh.
Below 63 kg: 1. P. Gopi (Govt DC, Khairtabad), 2. N. Tharun (OU Engg), 3. M. Mayank Trivedi (Avanthi) & Shiva Shankar (Matrusri Engg).
Below 68 kg: 1. T. Hriday Singh (RG Kedia), 2. N. Tejesh (SP College), 3. Vaishnav Adithya (Nizam) & Sashreek (Avanthi).
