Hyderabad: The Anti Corruption Bureau registered a case of disproportionate assets against an Assistant Director, Agriculture, Kalwakurthy division, Nagarkurnool.
According to officials, after registering a case against Sundari Kiran Kumar, searches were conducted at the residence of the officer and his relatives. The officials seized property documents, vehicles, and insurance papers.
The official allegedly possesses 97 acres of agricultural land, three open plots, five vehicles, insurance policies worth Rs 5.50 lakh, investments of Rs 50 lakh, two flats, and a house.
The value of the property is around Rs 4 crore, while the market value is much higher. Further verification is in progress to ascertain additional assets. The case is under investigation.
