University of Hyderabad participates in Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2026

The University of Hyderabad’s Department of Theatre Arts participated in the silver jubilee Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2026. Its student production, Ek Khoon Sau Baatein 2, was staged in Hyderabad and Delhi, earning appreciation from audiences and theatre practitioners.

University of Hyderabad participates in Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2026

Hyderabad: The Department of Theatre Arts, SN School of Arts & Communication, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has announced its participation in the silver jubilee edition of Bharat Rang Mahotsav (BRM) 2026.

Organised by the National School of Drama (NSD) and the Ministry of Culture, the festival is widely recognised as the largest theatre festival in the world.


The student ensemble of UoH showcased their production, ‘Ek Khoon Sau Batain 2’, directed by Mr Rajeev Ranjan, under the guidance of Rajiv Velicheti.

The production was selected for the 25th-anniversary celebrations and performed in Hyderabad on February 8 and in Delhi on February 13, receiving critical acclaim from audiences and veteran theatre practitioners. ‘Ek Khoon Sau Batain 2’ captivated audiences with its nuanced storytelling and bold stagecraft.
