As the holy month of Ramzan approaches, the GHMC has launched a focused cleanliness drive at key religious and heritage sites, including Mecca Masjid, Madina, and Charminar.

Hyderabad: With the holy month of Ramzan approaching, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) set its eyes on the cleanliness at the premises of Mecca Masjid, Madina and Charminar, and other central mosques in the city.
On Wednesday, GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan visited a few areas around the iconic Charminar monument.
During the visit, he reviewed sanitation activities at Mecca Masjid, Madina, and Charminar. Days before the arrival of the holy month of Islam, he instructed officials to maintain clean roads and junctions in the city.
Additional Commissioner (Sanitation) Ravi Kiran and Charminar Zonal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy accompanied the GHMC Commissioner.
