Leaders across party lines greet KCR on 72nd birthday

Hyderabad: Political leaders across party lines extended birthday greetings to BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on his 72nd birthday on Tuesday, recalling his role in the Telangana Statehood movement and his leadership of the State.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao termed Chandrashekhar Rao his ‘forever hero’, thanking him for inspiring him every day and wishing him a long and blessed life.


BRSLP deputy leader T Harish Rao called the BRS chief a symbol of the Telangana movement and the embodiment of self-respect for the people of the State. He credited him with uniting society, shaping the agitation and steering it towards the formation of Telangana. Thanking Chandrashekhar Rao for being his political mentor, he wished that the former leader’s leadership would continue to guide the State.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy also conveyed warm greetings to the BRS supremo, wishing him good health, happiness and a long life in public life. He prayed for his well-being on the occasion.

YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy extended birthday wishes, praying for Chandrashekhar Rao’s health, peace and longevity.
