Nalgonda: Congress MLA from Munugode, Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy has once again warned the party of consequences if he is not offered a Cabinet berth.
“If you don’t offer me a cabinet berth, I will become the Chief Minister,” Rajgopal Reddy reportedly said at a victory rally in Choutuppal on Friday.
He asserted that he would become a Minister soon or the Chief Minister. “You take care of Munugode, I will take care of Telangana,” Rajgopal Reddy told the gathering, according to reports.
The Munugode MLA reminded the party of the promise made to him during the 2023 Assembly elections.
“I once again appeal to you to offer me a cabinet berth and fulfill your promise, failing which I will snatch it,” Rajgopal Reddy warned.
Rajgopal Reddy has been upset with the Congress party for denying him a Cabinet berth and has been critical of the leadership, particularly after three MLAs were inducted into the Cabinet last June.
