A victory rally by newly elected BRS councillor Pasikanti Ramya in Sircilla’s 31st ward turned violent on Friday when Congress activists allegedly attacked the procession.

Rajanna-Sircilla: A few BRS workers were injured after Congress activists attacked a victory rally in Sircilla town on Friday.
According to local residents, BRS leader Pasikanti Ramya won as councillor in the 31st ward. While she, along with her supporters, was taking out a victory rally in the ward, Congress activists attacked the procession.
A few BRS workers sustained injuries in the attack. On learning about the incident, police rushed to the spot, pacified the clashing groups and brought the situation under control.
