Avanthi Degree College wins Osmania University netball championship

Avanthi Degree College defeated Badruka College 9-4 to win the Osmania University inter-college men’s netball championship in Hyderabad. Prashanth scored six goals for the winners, while Slokh netted three for Badruka. Professors and officials presented the prizes

Hyderabad: Avanthi Degree College defeated Badruka College 9-4 in the final of the Osmania University inter-college netball championship for men.

For the winners, Prashanth scored six goals while Slokh netted three for the runners-up.

Prof Rajesh Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, Prof B Sunil Kumar, Prof K Deepla, Prof S Jagan Mohan and Dr Balraj gave away the prizes.

The results:
Final: Avanthi Degree College 9 (Prashanth 6) bt Badruka College 4 (Slokh 3).
Semifinals: Avanthi College bt Govt City College 13-6; Badruka College bt Loyola College 8-5.
