Hyderabad: Surineni Vanisha Rao of Telangana clinched gold in the 52 kg weight category of the National Powerlifting Championship in Delhi.
Vanisha showed wonderful composure and strength in the squat, bench press and deadlift to win gold in all three events.
The Telangana lifter came up with efforts of 100 kg in squat, 40 kg in bench press and 110 kg in deadlift for a combined total of 250 kg.
