Hyderabad: Condemning the charges made against him by the BJP in connection with the party candidate’s death in Makthal, Animal Husbandry Minister Vakiti Srihari stated that the saffron party was trying to politicise the issue and derive political mileage.
“If the BJP charges against me are proved, I am prepared for any punishment,” he said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The BJP was trying to mislead the people in the case. The Congress government would conduct an impartial probe into BJP candidate Mahadevappa’s death, he assured and extended his condolences to the bereaved family.
