A wandering tiger killed two sheep at Ammapur village in Jangaon district early on Saturday, triggering panic among villagers. Forest officials identified pugmarks at the site and advised residents to remain alert as this marks the tenth reported kill in 20 days.

Hyderabad: The wandering tiger reportedly attacked two sheep at Ammapur village in Narmetta mandal of Jangaon district early on Saturday.
A farmer, Vallapalla went to his field in the morning and noticed the two sheep that were kept at the cattle shed were killed in the night.
Frightened after seeing the scene, he returned to the village and informed the villagers who alerted the local Sarpanch B. Bapuraju. The local police and forest officials reaches the scene and identified the pugmarks of the tiger.
The villagers were asked to be on alert and not to venture into the fields alone. The tiger trackers are finding out the route taken by the tiger and where it was heading.
This is the tenth kill of tiger in last 20 days in the districts of Jangaon, Siddipet and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri
