Sangareddy: Deccan Development Society Vice Chairperson Dr Rukmini Rao said the area under food crop cultivation was coming down alarmingly due to rapid industrialisation and urbanisation.

Hailing the efforts of DDS women in cultivating food crops, she said these grains were being supplied across the nation. She added that DDS women would tour villages over the next one month to educate farmers on the need to cultivate millets, pulses and leafy vegetables, which are rich in nutrition.
