NBA: Houston Rockets 113-97 Los Angeles Lakers

The Houston Rockets have topped the Los Angeles Lakers 113-97, who were playing without LeBron James.

The Rockets were also short-handed, missing Russell Westbrook because of injury. But they were the better side of the match from the onset and went to their locker room after finishing the 1st half 65 to 56. They kept up the momentum after the break and took the next quarters that led to their 16-point margin victory.

James Harden tallied 39 points for the Rockets while Kyle Kuzma led the Lakers with 21 points and Anthony Davis added 17 points.

The Lakers will play against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday as The Rockets will line up against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
