Komati asks people in Adibatla to vote Congress for better living standards

Hyderabad,: Congress MP from Bhongir Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Sunday took part in the election campaigning in Adibatla municipality under the Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituency.
Addressing the people in the municipality, Venkat Reddy said the people in the municipality should vote for the Congress as the elections were meant for the uplift of poor and development of the area. He also utilized the occasion to target local MLA M. Kishan Reddy without taking his name. He alleged that the MLA had promised to develop the constituency, but utterly failed to do so. He said the victims of Phirangi canal were falling a prey to various viral diseases. He said while the people were protecting themselves from the diseases, the State government had spent only Rs 50 lakh to take up works in the area.
Alleging that the ruling party MLA was looting the people in his constituency, Venkat Reddy exhorted the people to teach a fitting lesson to the ruling TRS party by casting their votes against it in the elections. He also said he helped set up some companies to the area during his term as IT Minister. He promised to provide jobs to all the unemployed youth in the town in the next six months. Exhorting the people to vote for the Congress, which conceded separate Telangana State as promised by then UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, he said it was the time the people should express their gratitude to Sonia Gandhi by voting the Congress nominees en masse.
